Hi everyone. As everyone knows Michael Joseph Jackson left us nothing but just his name and his music for us listen and understand. We have only those to remember him by. But still to me, he is a PERFECTIONIST. He suffers a lot in his life. His has been accused for child sexual abuse. Although for sometime the allegation was dropped, people still thinks that he is a notorious man. I totally despise of that perception towards MJ. So i hope that MJ's death will let you open your eyes as Michael Jackson is a humble and down-to-earth man. He's not trying to hurt others but the others are trying hurt him and scoop out his money. So my fellow homo sapiens, open your mind and see what he was trying to say all a long time ago.
Why do we need to learn English? Why is it important? Why are we stressing too much on our mother tongue?
As i see that the people that rejects that the learning of Science and Mathematics, is either they could not understand the importance of English towards our studies and especially our up coming CAREER. If we lack the study of Science and Maths in English, our MALAYS will be 'cavemen'. Let us see some part of the world. Such as the well known India. In their further studies, they need students who could understand, possess the English language because why, because all of their books and references are ALL in English. You must have realise by now that our fresh graduands who are Malays that masters the English language is only by 49.2% only. Aren't you sad to hear this? The other 50.8% does not have a mastery in English. And that fifty percent are unemployed because of their negligence towards the English language. Yes, it's true we should not forget our mother tongue but we can balance it by teaching the mother toungue in school. If you want to know something, the primary school and secondary school, is taking 60% of the schooling period is the study of Bahasa Malaysia. True is it not? But not learning the English language sooner won't make us any better in the future. If you say that we are not stressing on Bahasa Malaysia, that is barely even a statement to me. In this country, everyone when i say everyone i meant EVERYONE knows how to speak Malay because they were educated and nutured since primary school. The rural area has a problem with the English language? That is not entirely a big problem at all. To me, the government needs to provide good, no SUPERB English teachers at, not only at the rural areas but also all over the schools in Malaysia. So it also high time that the parents themselves educate their young ones to study or maybe just try to speak English a bit from home. Now, isn't that a good start of the stepping stone? Now, ask yourself, do we need or not need study English now? Or you prefer yourselves (the teenagers) to be redundant in the future? I speak this to all of you including the parents who wants to be a better parent for their children to look up to. It is now to face the change for, not only our benefit but also the country, for our nation for MALAYSIANS.
