This is one the most interesting books i've ever read for this school holidays. This gut busting book did entertained me for the holidays. You may see it as a too much illustration but the book is telling us about a boy around 10 years old trying to have the perfect life and getting through the boring life of a middle school kid.


Gregory Heffley, the main character has a very geeky personality as loves video games (as much as i am) and often with his best friend which is Rowley Jefferson who is always been mistreated by Greg. Even though they often fought but the both the characters has great chemistry together. Rowley often gets all the great stuff but a mere cry baby while Greg is the opposite of everything of Rowley. Greg is ignorant and an opportunist with all Rowley wealth. He is afraid of a person called Fregley. Fregley has a sugar rush problem which bothers Greg most. Fregley could pick his nose and chase Greg around with the booger pointing at Greg.


It may sound disgusting but the story has a lot of funny jokes. Greg loves to draw comic strips and the jokes were simple but simply funny and idiotic. He created his own character named Creighton who is a total numb skull. Well that is all i could really convinced you with but do read the book. I hope you'll enjoy your school holidays as much as i do!
